Grammy nominated R & B singer-songwriter Syleena Johnson
will headline Club 2014′s Day Party during the Centennial Celebration of Phi
Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Acclaimed as one of the finest R&B voices to
have emerged during the past decade, Syleena is also a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

Club 2014 is the official social scene for “Celebrating One
Century of Service”, the 100th Anniversary celebration of Phi Beta
Sigma, July 16 – 20, 2014 at the Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, DC. The Day Party will be held on Thursday, July 17th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
Party participants will enjoy great music, celebrity appearances, door prizes,
and signature drink specials for $25. The Day Party is free to registered
fraternity members and guests.

Syleena Johnson grew up outside of Chicago, Illinois and studied
music at Drake University in Des Moines, IA, where she was active in classical
music, gospel choirs and jazz ensembles. She released an independent album, Love Hangover, in 1999. In 1997, her
demo tape was heard by a Jive Records executive who immediately offered her a
recording contract. Her debut album, Chapter
1: Love, Pain & Forgiveness
, in 2002, yielded the hit I Am Your Woman, penned by R. Kelly. Several hits would soon follow including, Guess
What
, All Falls Down with Kanye West, Another Relationship, A Boss, Angry Girl and Stone Wall.

Syleena is most recently known for the hit reality TV series R&B Divas Atlanta on TV One. The women recently received a Grammy nod for “Best R&B Album” which features Syleena’s Stone Wall, as well as her with other divas on Lovin’ Me and SisterFriend.
